What makes our cafe special?

A café with the soul of a village

Opening a café in a village is not just about setting up a business. It’s about creating a meeting point at the heart of everyday life. It’s about lifting the shutters each morning with the hope that someone will find a refuge there, a good start to the day, or an unexpected conversation. Cafè Vilanova was born with this intention: to be a space of calm and good taste, where you can enjoy a quiet breakfast, sit on the terrace and watch the day go by, share a tapa, or sip a comforting coffee.

From the very beginning, we knew we wanted to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. A place with wood, plants, thoughtful details, and natural light. A simple space, designed so that everyone feels at ease: alone, with a partner, with friends, or with a notebook in hand. For reading the paper, making plans, or doing nothing at all.

Our menu is short, honest, and homemade. We like to work with quality ingredients, and whenever possible, with local products. We’re not here to impress with complex dishes, but to offer food that’s satisfying, appetizing, and meant to be enjoyed slowly. That’s why you’ll find tapas to share, seasonal dishes that change with the time of year, and those flavors that never fail.

We also take care with our breakfasts (even though they’re not on the formal menu): freshly baked croissants, warm sandwiches, natural juices, and full-bodied coffees… because starting the day off right makes all the difference.

And if there’s one place that defines the soul of the café, it’s the terrace. Spacious, open, full of plants and little moments. Here, time slows down, beers stay cold, and smiles linger.

Thank you to all of you who have already stopped by, to those who come often, and to those who are yet to discover us. You’ll find us here every day (except Tuesdays), ready to make you feel at home.

Because in the end, what makes a café truly great… is the people who sit in it.
